In the Meantime

Wow! Look at the thick layer of dust on this here blog! Sorry about that. The conference ended this weekend, and now we’re off to Yosemite and the long drive home. Will post again later this week. In the meantime, here are a few of the many bloggers I met while in San Francisco. If you get a chance, cruise around their blogs for a while, or at least stop by to say hello. They are all talented writers and incredibly fun to talk to in person. A few of them are slow to return to the blogosphere, too, but that’s just because we had so much fun. If I left your name out, worry not — I’ll get you later…

Hmmmm…too bad you didn’t get to meet THIS blogger – Oh, say in the Magic Mountain area. That’s where I am now. I can see it from here. I hope your DH got to ride the rides :D Take care, Caryn, and safe travels home!

It was wonderful to see you again!! (And yes, having those ‘message paddles’ while driving would come in handy, wouldn’t it?? :) )

    Caryn,
THANK YOU!! It was wonderful to finally meet you and Pam (and Pam’s husband…and Melissa… :) and have lunch with you all! Hope you’re enjoying the continuation of your trip (Yosemite must’ve been gorgeous!) and will look forward to hearing more upon your return.
P.S. How did that pitch go????

Alyson, I enjoyed meeting you, too! And I suppose it’s no surprise that we kept missing each other — the conference is just that big!

Katie, have fun at Magic Mountain! I can’t wait to compare notes on it when you get back. And to see your photos, too!

Jess, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished for those message paddles. I just happened to have my cell phone handy yesterday when I had that thought so I had to share it. (No wifi in our car, wouldn’t you know?)

Mom, you’ll get pictures and stories for certain!

Marilyn, I loved talking to you, too! I only wish we’d had more time, but things were so busy. Next time maybe.

Thanks, Courtney! Between you and me I loved our vacation, but now I’m kind of ready to be back, too.

A lot of blogs are “dusty” lately. Must be the dog days of August. So glad you had a good time in San Francisco…and looking forward to reading more about your adventures.

Sandi, I think you’re right. In fact, I’ve heard that blogging tends to slow down a lot in the summer when a lot of people are on vacation.

Joanne, I loved hanging out with you, too!

LOL, Melissa! And, yes, I’m on pills now. Do Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen count?

Thanks, Angela! It was a great trip, but it’s nice to be back, too.

Hey, Robin! I loved hanging out with you, too. Hope we can catch up in person soon!

But who’s counting, Pam, really? Oh, yes. Turns out you are…
